We roast 100% Colombian medium roast coffee that’s smooth, vibrant and naturally sweet. Our real secret ingredient though, it’s sarcasm. Each bag comes with an attractive yet witty label that says what you’re really thinking or hints to what you both know is true. It’s a great gift for coffee lovers, gift-givers and people who laugh before the caffeine really kicks in.
2. So, while your packaging is totally funny, the real question is, does it taste good?
Heck to the yes. We’re really serious about the roast and truly unserious about everything else. Our beans are specialty grade Colombian coffee, grown in high-altitude regions for premium flavor and freshness. It’s roasted in small batches, so each bean reaches the perfect flavor profile every time. Once it’s roasted, we pack and ship within two days so you’re getting it at its peak freshness and ready to be brewed. It’s smooth. It’s balanced and not bitter. And, surprisingly refined…kind of like your humor!
3. What exactly is specialty coffee?
Think of specialty-grade coffee as the VIP section of the coffee world minus the velvet rope and overpriced bottle service. This type of coffee is the top 5-10% of coffee beans grown in the world, graded by certified experts (think of a “coffee sommelier” like a “wine sommelier”) who score beans on flavor, aroma, sweetness, balance and overall quality. To qualify as “specialty,” the beans must score 80 points or higher on a 100-point scale. It’s coffee that actually tastes amazing as it is on purpose, not just “because caffeine.”
And to take it a quick one-step further, specialty coffee comes from Colombian farms that put full effort into the growing process. Ensuring that the beans are at the ideal elevation, soil, share, harvesting and are hand-picked with care. This may be unlike larger companies who often use machine pickers and who may throw everything else in with the bean, too. And, our coffee is traceable. We can tell you exactly what farm it originated and when.
4. What grind options to you offer?
You can choose between:
Whole Bean – perfect for coffee purists who like to grind fresh
Ground – for the people who need caffeine before they operate a grinder
5. How long does your coffee stay fresh?
Unopened, our coffee stays fresh for a year. Once opened, we suggest storing it in an airtight container because coffee absorbs moisture faster than your best friend absorbs gossip.
6. Are your beans ethically sourced?
Most definitely! Our Colombian beans are grown using environmentally friendly farming practices. Good coffee shouldn’t come with bad karma because we know how that turns out.
7. Can I give Laugh Lines Coffee as a gift?
Absolutely! Our coffee was created to be gifted to your best friends, family, co-workers, teachers, coaches for birthdays, holidays, appreciation, just because and the list goes on. There’s a label for everyone and we’ll be creating more so come back and visit often!
8. Do you offer more than one type of coffee flavor or decaffeinated?
Not yet, but it’s in the works!
9. Do you offer subscriptions?
That is also in the works because if you’re like us, running out is not an option.
10. How long does shipping take?
We ship within 2-4 business days and most orders will arrive within a week. We pack everything fresh, fast and with just enough caffeine to triple-check your label choice and chuckle as we close the lid.
